Sarabjit Kaur Cheema

High School Teacher. Trustee. Engineer.

A Union City resident since 1992, Sarabjit Kaur Cheema spent 20 years as a civil transportation engineer at Caltrans and now teaches math at James Logan High School. She holds master’s degrees in Mathematics and Governance. She’s the only candidate in this race with local legislative experience - 12 years as a New Haven Unified School Trustee and four years as a Union City Human Relations Commissioner. She brings a leader’s vision, a teacher’s heart, and an engineer’s training to City Hall.
